"Walking in the Sand", wild deerhide and night blue beads handbag
This handbag is made from wild deerhide, it is unique and entirely crafted by my hands in France.
Under the soles of your feet, feeling the countless tiny grains of sand, listening to them crunch.
Walk without saying a word.
Just walk on and on and stop - turn around and look at your footprints.
How many footprints?
Take a gentle deep breath and fill yourself with the silence there-then carry on.
Description
This bag can be worn on the shoulder or across the body.
The edge of the flap is irregularly embroidered with small glass beads in midnight blue and lapis lazuli and one small turquoise bead among them.
The inner edge is entirely embroidered with these same beads.
On the handle, an attached tie finished with copper cones will fall on either side of your shoulder.
The handle is attached to the back of the bag by ties of the same hide adorned with copper and brass cones.
The handle ends in fringes.
This bag is not lined and comes in an ecru cotton pouch with its name, also sewn by my hands.
I invite you to store it in its cotton pouch to preserve it.
